EMS Intubation Using BURP

This week is a video Monday Minutes. EMS endotracheal intubation help using the BURP maneuver or “backward, upward, rightward pressure”. Paramedics should be familiar with this to help with their intubation skills and management of difficult airways.

Helping EMS Through Social Media

MOI To Think About In Chest Trauma

Now using mechanism of injury can be important and raise your suspicion on what you may encounter, but remember that MOI combined with a patients complaints, signs, symptoms and your assessment is a better way to decide treatment and transport of your patients.
