Paramedic School Accreditation | Advanced Airways vs. BVM

EMS OK, as usual the monthly rapid fire show was full of commentary and topics that went way to fast. It always seems we don’t have enough time once we start. But that’s alright, we’ll just pick it up on another episode down the road.

This week Tim Noonan joined me and Josh along with John Broyles and we talked a bit about benefits if any on paramedic schools being accredited via the NREMT. This gave way to the effectiveness of current exam methods and we came round to discussing advanced airways, BVM use or even NRB use in cardiac arrest patients.

Great show that was sponsored by EMS Manager who is offered a customized free trial of their EMS employee scheduling and management software. Go sign up and be sure to let them know EMS Office Hours sent you. Click here to get it.

Great activity in the chat room with some FaceBook and Twitter fans. Thanks to NightWalker and RescueHumor from Facebook and George aka WickedSmaaht from Twitter. Go check out their pages and follow or like them for more EMS goodness.

Be sure to also go read Tim’s blog post that we discussed during the show over at RogueMedic

Check out my website for some EMS freebies and Josh for the only oxygen wrench you’ll ever need (plus a window punch and bottle opener).
